Patient Registry Strategies: A New Service from Bridgehead

Bridgehead International is pleased to announce an affiliation with Jeffrey P. Trotter, of J Trotter Research and Consulting. Through this affiliation, Bridgehead's scope of services will be expanded to include the strategic design and development of patient registries and other observational research initiatives.

One of the industry's leading authorities on patient registries, Jeff has been involved in health economics and outcomes research for nearly 25 years. The founder and President of Ovation Research Group since its inception in 1990, Jeff led his organization to global prominence in the design and execution of registries and other "late stage" prospective studies. Jeff recently formed his own independent consultancy subsequent to Ovation's acquisition in 2006 by ICON Clinical Research.

Based in the Chicago area, Jeff will work closely with Bridgehead's North America team. However, in view of Jeff's extensive global experience, his expertise will be accessible to Bridgehead clients in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies on a worldwide basis.

Prior to founding Ovation, Jeff worked as a healthcare management consultant for Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Management (MBA) degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Bridgehead International CEO, Timothy Fitzgerald commented that:

"Patient registries are a natural complement to our pricing and reimbursement services, as they provide our clients with increased options for substantiating the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of their products. We are delighted to have Jeff as part of Bridgehead's Associate network and to have his unique expertise available to our clients."
